The Way We Get By is a story about troop greeters ? a group of senior citizens who gather daily at a small airport to thank American soldiers departing and returning from Iraq, but the film quickly turns into a moving, unsettling and compassionate story about aging, loneliness, war and mortality. The score/soundtrack is a modern themed acoustic-based musical masterpiece composed by Zack Martin of Carrigan, with film audio tastefully woven throughout. The feature track, titled "The Trapper," accentuates the heart-felt story behind the individuals of this film.
