This is a re-release by popular demand, of the first major gig by the Yalloppin' Hounds in New York City, at Lincoln Center's Midsummer Night Swing festival in June of 1998. This is a smaller representation of the Yalloppin' Hounds before they were doing a lot of the original material they became associated with. These are covers of hard swinging classic songs, mostly instrumental, featuring the original incarnation of the band, while some of the members were still in the big band of Illinois Jacquet, and they all left shortly after this concert, as it really put the Yalloppin' Hounds on the map! If you want to hear the Hounds burn it down, this is for you. Featuring Joey "G-Clef" Cavaseno & Brian "Lord" Sledge.
