American songwriter, singer and producer Frank Wilson hailed from Houston, Texas and first came to prominence as a soul singer in the early to mid-1960s. He cut a few singles of his own but preferred to adopt a fictitious identity on every occasion, releasing singles as Sonny Daye, Eddie Wilson and Chester St. Anthony. In 1965, he recorded "Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)" under his real name and scored his first big hit as a composer and a singer. Sometime in the late 1990s Frank recorded a new version of the song with musical backing in the Hi NRG vein. On this exclusive release, we have taken Frank's vocal from that session and have completely reconstructed and recreated the original music and arrangement into something entirely brand new. On this special single release, we've also included the new extended and instrumental versions as a bonus.
