Willy Evans has been playing music in the piedmont and western NC for about 25 years. He is largely influenced by blues and gospel artists and by the 60's R&B sounds that surrounded his teenaged years. The Willy Evans Trio is the band that plays Willy's original music. Ranging in sound from Jazzy to Rocking, from almost country to country blues. This is Willy's rootsy look at life through the eyes of a blues player and blues lover. This particular CD has songs that range from Willy's earliest days as a songwriter to the present time. A span of almost 20 years. A mellow departure from his first CD, his fans have not been disappointed. If you get a chance to see Willy Evans, do! He'll rock you, he'll soothe you and he'll have you dancing in the aisles!
