Best known for her role as Grandmother Adela in the popular PBS series Que Pasa? USA, Velia Martinez started her professional career as a popular singer in 1940's and 1950's Havana, and when she emigrated to Miami in 1962, she became the toast of the town. This historic session was recorded in Cuba shortly before the embargo of 1959. This classic recording has been newly digitally re-mastered.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
