This classic recording of traditional Afro-Cuban folkloric music is tied to the Santeria religion of Cuba and particularly to Santa Barbara, otherwise known as the Yoruba orisha Changa, the god of thunder. The artists in this collection include Manteca; the master Cuban percussionist, Gina Martin; the classic Cuban vocalist, the fine Cuban orchestra of Pepe Delgado, Los Rufinos - the amazing singing group of 1950's Havana and others. Includes the classic Santeria anthem, "A Santa Barbara (Que Viva Chango)". All selections newly remastered.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
