The follow-up to 2015's Foil Deer, Speedy Ortiz's latest indie rock missive is prompted by a tidal wave of voices, no longer silent on the heart they've endured from society's margins. The record pulls from the most elastic pop moments in Squeeze's Argybargy and the seesawing synth-rock of Deerhoof and the Rentals. This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
