Truth Universal Aka Stokely Ture - The Ruler's Back [7" Vinyl]

A staple in the New Orleans Hip Hop community, Truth Universal has been a leader on the southern Hip Hop scene for more than a decade. While he calls the flourishing New Orleans Hip Hop underground home, Truth has an international perspective that he brings to his music through his birth and childhood in Diego Martin, Trinidad. In partnership with Superjock Records, Truth Universal (aka Stokely Ture) is thrilled to announce the release of the 7" vinyl single "The Ruler's Back" b/w "Conscious x Trill." Though active with touring and performance, "The Ruler's Back" is Truth's first release since "Invent the Future (2013)," which features Rakaa Iriscience of Dilated Peoples, Khrysis, Kev Brown, Lyrikill and P.U.D.G.E. "The Ruler..." makes way for Truth's subsequent EP project - "Introducing Stokely Ture." which is scheduled for a late 2022 release.
