The Trio di Trieste (Renato Zanettovich - violin, Libero Lana - cello, Dario de Rosa - piano) are among the most venerable and venerated 20th century chamber music groups, the original members together for nearly 50 years. Heard here in German radio recordings are Beethoven's Trio in B flat Major, op 97 " Archduke" (1959) and Schubert's Trio in B flat Major op 99, D 898 (1958) With this CD, IDIS begins a series of Trio di Trieste releases of recordings.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
