This debut album is an exciting tribute to the King of Zydeco, Clifton Chenier and re-creates those early Louisiana dance hall sounds using the same instrumentation of accordion, rub board, vocals, harp and drums. With Lloyd Meadows harmonica and soulful vocals, Bruce Gordon's funky bluesy zydeco accordion and Tyler Eng's driving drums, the Trio is a fireball of hot music, tear jerking ballads and waltzes. 15 tracks, several great originals plus the Rolling Stones "Miss You." This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
