This debut album is an exciting tribute to the King of Zydeco, Clifton Chenier and re-creates those early Louisiana dance hall sounds using the same instrumentation of accordion, rub board, vocals, harp and drums. With Lloyd Meadows harmonica and soulful vocals, Bruce Gordon's funky bluesy zydeco accordion and Tyler Eng's driving drums, the Trio is a fireball of hot music, tear jerking ballads and waltzes. 15 tracks, several great originals plus the Rolling Stones "Miss You." Queen Ida says "I want to commend you, you guys are sounding great, fantastic... Clifton would be real happy. It's a great tribute, a little bit of everything, something for everyone, keep it up."
