Tony Martin first gained prominence as the featured vocalist on the widely popular George Burns and Gracie Allen radio show. He was featured in many films between 1938 and 1942, at the same time he made a number of hit records for the Decca label. He appeared in many film musicals in the 40's and 50's and has continued to perform in every decade since. As of 2011, at age 97, Martin is still doing live performances. Originally released in 1982, the album presented here features Martin singing a classic selection of pop standards including "Ill See You in My Dreams," "Red Sails in the Sunset" and "Those Were the Days." All selections newly re-mastered.
