ABOUT THE FILM:
Time Bandits tells the story of a young boy, Kevin, who is intrigued by history but neglected by his parents. He gets the chance to make his dreams come true when a band of six time-traveling dwarfs appears out of thin air in his bedroom. Having stolen the Supreme Being's one-of-a-kind map of time and space to get rich, the greedy gang whisk Kevin off on an exciting journey to the depths of history, skipping from one era to another. To further complicate matters, the dangerous arch-rival known as the Evil Genius is hot on their trail, bent on getting his hands on the precious map for his own evil scheme. He uses his powers and the gang’s greed to lure them into the Time of Legends for an epic showdown that stretches time and imagination.

Time Bandits is a classic film directed by Terry Gilliam and produced by George Harrison’s production company Handmade Films. The film stars Sean Connery, John Cleese, David Warner, and David Rappaport. The film has garnered a giant cult following over the years and recently been added to the Criterion Collection – which collects only the best films from around the world and releases them in the highest technical quality possible.

ABOUT THE COMPOSER:
Mike Moran is an English musician, songwriter, composer, and record producer. Although mainly known from Time Bandits, Moran also composed music for the films The Missionary and Water for Handmade Films. He has also worked with Ozzy Osbourne, George Harrison, and members of Queen.

The score for Time Bandits also contains production and drum tracks from Ray Cooper. Cooper has played drums with Elton John, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, George Harrison, and Paul McCartney.
