Recorded in the state-of-the-art (George) Lucas Skywalker Studios in San Francisco, this CD surveys the rich musical heritage of Tibet, including folk and classical music, vocal and instrumental works. The release of Dhama Suna coincides with a vogue for Tibetan culture borne out by the Fall 1997 release of a Scorsese/Disney film on the Dalai Lama and Jean-Jacques Annaud's Seven Days in Tibet, set for release in early '98.
