Woyrsch belonged to a generational group of composers including Wetz, Berger, Weingartner, and Juon, whose members carefully continued to develop the classical-romantic tradition in their own personal manner and style and enriched the history of genres such as the symphony with important nuances. Together with the Oldenburg State Orchestra, known for it's enlistment in the cause of Dietrich, we would now like to see justice done to Woyrsch, the Northern German successor to Brahms.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
