With their debut recording, the Leipzig-based ensemble Thios Omilos give an insight into the sacred music of Jacobus Gallus, Hans Leo Hassler, and Johann Hermann Schein. Hassler's Missa Dixit Maria is at the heart of this production, while the foundations of the Christian faith and man liturgical feasts of Christmas, Easter, and the Ascension form the liturgical framework.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
