Philly soul chanteuse Terri Wells first came to prominence in the mid-1970 's when Dexter Wansel hired her as a session singer for the legendary Philadelphia International Records label where she recorded and toured with Lou Rawls, M.F.S.B., Jean Carne and Dexter (singing on 'Love Is Everywhere', 'Life on Mars' and lead on 'The Sweetest Pain'). in 1979, when Dexter retired from live performances, Terry was hired by Roy Ayers. She toured in Ayers band, co-wrote 'Let's Stay Together' for Roy on his 'Feelin' Good' album, and was featured lead vocalist on Roy's 'Turn Me Loose,' which led to Terri's debut solo release 'You Make It Heaven' in 1983. In 1984 Terri scored the club hit 'Just Like Dreamin',' presented here in it's original 12" version with bonus a cappella. Newly re-mastered.
