The band recreates the sound and style of one of the great classic jazz bands of the 1920s, King Oliver's Creole Jazz Band, which could be heard at the Lincoln Gardens in Chicago. This CD features Shafer with Bob Neighbor, Bill Hogan, Bob Mielke, Cyril Bennett and others.
