T-spoon - Greatest Hits - Vinyl Record

T-Spoon is a Dutch Eurodance project founded in 1991 by rapper Shalamon Baskin (known as Shamrock) and producer Remy de Groot (known as Prince Peration). The group released it's debut single, "No Time 2 Waste," in 1993, which became a European top-10 hit. In the years that followed, T-Spoon scored a series of international successes with tracks such as "A Part of My Life," "Where R U Now" and "Take Me 2 the Limit." In 1997, they became known for the summer hit "Sex on the Beach", which reached the charts in the Netherlands as well as Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. The song was first released in Ireland following it's success in Europe. There it became one of the biggest hits of the year, peaking at number 3 in the charts. After the success in Ireland, the single was released in the United Kingdom at the end of the summer and reached number 2 in the UK charts. Behind T-Spoon stands Prince Peration, the group's founder and one of it's creative driving forces. The project's co-producers included Dominic Sas and Serge Ramaekers, known for their work on Confetti's and Cartouche. On stage, T-Spoon featured four performers: a female vocalist (Ingrid Simons, Jean Shy, Blonde, and later Linda Estelle), a male rapper (Shamrock, replaced in 1998 by Greg Dillard and in 2001 by King Lover), and two dancers, Regilio and Anatevka Bos. This brand-new Greatest-Hits collection is now available on vinyl and features all of T-Spoon's biggest successes, plus an exclusive bonus mix of "Sex on the Beach."
