Karol Szymanowski (1882-1937) is now celebrated as one of the most important figures in Polish cultural life after Chopin. Celebrated British pianist Martin Jones has recorded the complete piano music on 4 albums. Martin Jones has been one of Britain's most highly regarded solo pianists since first coming to international attention in 1968 when he received the Dame Myra Hess Award.
