Who dat? We are a Hoboken/ Jersey City based rock band that consists of Ralph Malanga (ex-Footstone), Sean Adams & Brian Musikoff (Friends Romans Countrymen), and Kneel Peart (Bruce Wayne, Dirty Knees, Bob Fields, HS Sweethearts). Why dat? Peter Stuyvesant was the first acting governor of NY (namely New Amsterdam) in the mid 1600's, but we are really named after the liquor store on Kennedy Blvd. That Sean used to work at when he was growing up in the Journal Square section of Jersey City. I knew we were onto something with that name, but, I just came across an interesting fact today that makes the whole damn thing just make sense. This is TOO good: America's First Brewery. On February 5, 1663, Nicholas Varlett obtained from Peter Stuyvesant a patent for the first brewery in America, located on Castle Point, Hoboken, New Jersey. Perfecto mundo!!!!
