Eleven tunes from Blind Lemon Jefferson, Rev. Gary Davis, Blind Willie McTell, and other country blues stalwarts feature Howell's considerable fingerstyle guitar skills and soulful vocals. Here he reaches into his deep musical bag and comes up with fine examples of blues storytelling.
