The Stayres came out swinging on their eponymous release in late 23', great melodies, loud guitars and more hooks to count. On Duplex the hooks are still there but the assortment of sounds and songcraft take you well beyond the wall of guitars of their debut. From the single "Tundra" to the push and shove of "Don't Touch the Humans", Mike Nicolai's vocals are out front on this one, and that's good because they need to be heard. Duplex is a wild ride you don't want to miss out on.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
