Ryan Pollie is an American musician from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that now lives in Los Angeles, California. Pollie is primarily known for music under his own name and as Los Angeles Police Department. He is also a music producer that mostly self-produces his own albums.

NPR favorably compared the music to ‘70s songwriters like Jackson Browne and Graham Nash.

STARS is his new album. First one with Mapache and a great collection of songs that connects him with the 70’s tradition while he writes his own path in this century. From the ambitious structures of The Shore House through the infectious pop of Don’t Lie, Stars is a pocket full of surprises.
