A former member of the classic 60' s Rock band Canned Heat, harmonica, saxophone, vocalist and flautist Stanley "The Baron" Behrens has been much in demand for his special musical gifts since his days with Canned Heat - recording music for television and film and touring the globe with his own projects. On the unique album presented here, originally recorded in the late 1970' s, Behren's harmonica fronts a Jazz trio featuring organ wiz Bobby Forrester and Kenny Dixon on drums. Pop and jazz tunes such as Ellington's "Things Ain't What They Used to Be" or Bobby Hebb's "Sunny' are given new life with this unusual blend of instruments and serves to prove that Behren's choice of material along with his mastery of the harmonica makes for a very interesting album. All selections are newly re-mastered.
