The talented Sonofa (pronounced son oh fah) King was born in Philadelphia, PA to Vashti Torrienti Adams and the legendary Ben E. King (aka Benjamin Earl Nelson) and even though his name is pronounced differently, he was and is the son of a King. With a father renowned for iconic hits like "Stand By Me" and "This Magic Moment," and a mother who was a well-known dancer, singer and pianist, Sonofa de?nitely has the music in him. After recently releasing his first full-length album Stand By Me - A Tribute To My Father Ben E King on Society Hill Records, the younger King returns with a standout rendition of the title track and lead single from his legendary father's 1980 album, "Music Trance." This exciting new single contains includes the full version of Music Trance as well as a mix geared for radio and an instrumental mix.
