Zamrock pioneers WITCH (We Intend To Cause Havoc) return with Sogolo, their second 21st-century release following 2021’s Zango. Formed in 1970s Zambia and led by Emmanuel “Jagari” Chanda and Patrick Mwondela, the band continues to push boundaries while honoring their roots. Recorded mid-tour in Berlin, Sogolo—meaning “future” or “front”—blends garage rock, Afrobeat, funk, and tight, well-tooled rock ‘n’ roll with their signature Zamrock sound. Featuring global collaborators, the album is a vibrant statement of continued evolution.

Pressed on Random Eco-Mix Color Vinyl, each LP is uniquely colored using leftover wax—no two are exactly alike. As Jagari puts it: “The legacy continues.”
