Scott Savage was a North Carolina based champion of the independent, original, underground rock scene of the late Seventies. His sound was a fusion of The Doors, Velvet Underground, and other mind expanding free thinkers of the time like Quicksilver Messenger Service. His band The Streets Living Theater would go on to record a full length album in 1982 with Mitch Easter (Let's Active/REM).Presented here for the first time since 1978 is Scott's very first 45 rpm single, "Memento Mori." Reissued and repressed by one of Scott's many DIY protégés Jeff Clayton of the punk legends ANTiSEEN, on his new imprint LongHaired Weirdo Records. Limited Edition pressing of RED vinyl.
