Jonathan Swensen was born in 1996 in Copenhagen and Filip Strauch was born in 1985 in Slovakia. They met for the first time at the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen in 2014. Filip at that time was in his last year of study in the solo piano class while Jonathan was just beginning his cello degree. Filip and Jonathan have performed many recitals in several countries around the world and have made two professional video recordings for Danish television. Jonathan has been busy for the last few years by studying a large repertoire for many competitions and concerts around the world. Filip also traveled to many countries and has played different solo and chamber pieces with outstanding artists. In addition, he recently won the First Prize in the Instrumental Competition of the Royal Academy, which opened up many new possibilities.
