Including Schubert's String Quintet in C major, D 956, likely one of the last pieces written by him before his death along with Schumann's Piano Quintet in E flat major, Op. 44 composed in the exultantly creative period that burst from Schumann after finally able to marry his wife, muse and fellow composer, Clara. Originally released in 1981 and re-mastered in Super Audio format and on the Pentatone's Remastered Classics imprint.
