One of the most popular instrumental duos of the 50's and 60's, Santo & Johnny achieved worldwide fame when their catchy instrumental ditty "Sleepwalk" rose to #1 on the pop charts. Their unique steel guitar sound remains as popular today as when they first hit the charts in 1959. The rare classic album presented here was originally released in 1974 and features instrumental versions of hits by a varied selection of writers including Paul McCartney, Cole Porter, Barry White, Jesse Fuller and W.C. Handy. Includes the theme to the hit 1973 movie "Serpico" which starred Al Pacino. All selections newly re-mastered.
