This reissue is the latest digital remastering by Bernie Grundman. It will be released in a high-quality Blu-spec CD2 and paper jacket. Ryuichi Sakamoto's seventh solo album was produced in collaboration with Bill Laswell, with the intention of releasing it worldwide for the first time, and features top musicians from different genres, including Sly Dunbar, Bootsy Collins, and Tony Williams. While based on electronic sounds, it also fuses organic and ethnic musical elements such as Okinawan and Balinese traditional music, and was recorded between Tokyo and New York. It is a milestone work in his solo career, which has been released in over 20 countries around the world.
