25 years ago, Rosebud recorded their debut album— a self-titled, small collection of torch songs performed live-to-tape. If you haven’t heard of Rosebud, you’re not alone. Rosebud is the younger sister to the band Jump, Little Children, and has lived quietly in the grassroots phenomenon’s shadow for all these years.
Rosebud’s first album was originally released with little to no fanfare while JLC was touring and promoting the major label debut of “Magazine”. However, this unique collection of carefully crafted, sentimental wallflowers has thrived beyond the spotlight with constant requests for a reprint.
