Ronnie Foster caught the ear of Blue Note Records after appearing on Grant Green's album Alive! and made his own Blue Note debut with Two Headed Freap. It includes covers of Al Green and Wilson Pickett along with originals like "Mystic Brew," which A Tribe Called Quest would later sample on their classic track "Electric Relaxation." Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series is all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at Optimal.
