It's 1975 and the heavyweight champion of the world, Apollo Creed is ready to defend his title against #1 contender Mac Lee Green. When Green is injured during training, Team Creed is forced to find a last minute challenger. With the fight scheduled to take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in celebration of the nation’s bicentennial, Apollo chooses a local Philly club fighter and part-time debt collector, Rocky Balboa aka ‘The Italian Stallion’ as his opponent. The event’s promoter, Miles Jergens agrees to the idea and Creed vs. Balboa is set for January 1, 1976 at the Philadelphia Spectrum. Grab your official fight merch for the ‘Super Fight’ that started it all in this incredibly soft tri-blend 3/4 raglan with great drape, stretch and recovery.
