Robin Guthrie returns with Atlas, a four track EP, introducing another series of newly recorded instrumentals, this time gently easing the listener back into his world, teasingly leading us towards his next releases, later this year. Guthrie, whose production style and signature guitar sounds are said to have shaped multiple genres was the co-founder and producer of Cocteau Twins. For over forty years he has produced and remixed countless artists, recorded instrumental albums, movie soundtracks and collaborated with many outstanding people. Atlas is a most welcome hint at things to come.
