Rob Lamothe initially gained prominence as the lead vocalist for Los Angeles rock band Riverdogs, who released their critically acclaimed debut album in 1990 on Epic Records. Riverdogs still make records occasionally, when guitarist Vivian Campbell can get a break from his other bands (Def Leppard, Last In Line). Lamothe went solo with his debut album 'Gravity' in 1996. The album introduced a more introspective side to Lamothe's songwriting, exploring a depth of emotions, from sorrow, to love, to pain, to hope; a poignant reflection of the human experience.
