When listening to these classic recordings some 50+ years later, it's hard to believe that every song on this collection was recorded by a high school student named Ritchie 'Valens' Valenzuela. At the time of his death in February of '59, he was 17, his recording career was barely a year old and his star was on the rise. Features the hits 'Donna', 'Come On, Let's Go' and 'La Bamba' plus many more.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
