Son sens unique de la melodie a fait de Romane un guitariste incontournable a l'international, mais aussi un maitre dans l'art de mettre en musique. Avec « Classical Pieces » il realise son premier disque entierement arrange avec un quatuor a cordes. Il cree ici un univers crossover qui melange swing, classique, musique de film et jazz. Un langage musical d'une richesse infinie qui allie poesie et quietude. Pour l'accompagner dans cette aventure, il a fait appel a ses fils Richard et Pierre Manetti (la Romane family est un allstars a elle toute seule) et a ses comparses Laurent Zeller et Laurent Delaveau. Sans doute le disque le plus personnel de Romane.
