The Red Balaban Hot Club of 54th Street is joined by clarinetist Jack Maheu on three tracks of this 15 track CD of New Orleans jazz. Recorded in 1985 at Eddie Condon's club live with only a couple of the musicians wife's in attendance. The band is guitarist Chris Flory, guitarist Red Balaban, bassist Dave Shapiro, drummers Danny D'Imperio and Howard Alden. Jack Matheu is on the first 3 tracks of this recording. The tracks are: I Would Do Anything for You, Ding Dong Daddy, Bye Bye Blues, California Here I Come, Charmane, Music Maestro Please, Get Out, Get Under the Moon and many more great tunes.
