On the second "Ray Parker, Jr. And Raydio" album, and Ray's fourth overall, 1981's "A Woman Needs Love" pretty much picks up where 1980's "Two Places At The Same Time" left off. The recording blends Ray's penchant for catchy melodic grooves, anthems for respect, carnal desires from women, and butt shaking dance grooves. Three singles were culled from what would be the last "Ray Parker, Jr. And Raydio" album. First single, and one of the band's highest charting Pop entry, was the album's title track which hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart. The song also hit No. 4 on Billboard's Hot 100 Pop Singles chart, and No. 11 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart. Includes original album remastered from the original master tape and 3 bonus tracks. Limited edition of 2,000.
