Recorded and mixed at Capricorn Studios in Macon, Georgia in 1970, Raw Spitt is the alias of Charlie Whitehead, a great soul man who hails from Smithfield, Virginia; about thirty miles from Portsmouth, Virginia where the mad eccentric genius known as Swamp Dogg who produced the album, comes from. The Raw Spitt album has achieved legendary status over the years not only for its rarity, but for the swampy soul funk it delivers. All selections have been newly remastered.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
