Born in Paris, Nora Gubisch began her musical studies at an early age at the Maetrise of Radio France. On stage, she sings the title roles of Carmen by Bizet, Juditha triumphans by Vivaldi, Salammbe by P. Fenelon, La Belle Helene by Offenbach, and Lucrece by Britten. On this recording, Gubisch presents a selection of melodie cycles by Maurice Ravel. Gubisch is accompanied by her husband, renowned conductor and pianist Alain Altinoglu.
