A cast of friends and extended family rework compositions from Jaga Jazzist’s ninth studio album “Pyramid” (2020), a record that saw the legendary Norwegian eight-piece take a deep dive into post-rock, jazz and psychedelia influences. Cosmic disco royalty Lindstrøm and Prins Thomas, André Bratten (Smalltown Supersound) and OKIOK bring the club-ready heat. Meanwhile, OKR of Once And Future Band, Ian Chang (City Slang), Paul Bender (Hiatus Kaiyote) and Swedish producer Petter Eldh – a regular collaborator with Brainfeeder’s Jameszoo – veer off to the left into more experimental territory with stunning results.
