Brutal honesty meets blistering punk energy on PUP’s The Dream Is Over. This 2016 release is a furious, cathartic ride through self-doubt, burnout, and late-night survival, wrapped in shout-along choruses and razor-sharp riffs.
Named after a doctor’s blunt diagnosis to frontman Stefan Babcock, the album doesn’t hold back. Tracks like “If This Tour Doesn’t Kill You, I Will,” “DVP,” and “Sleep in the Heat” (featuring a heartbreaking narrative and a cameo by Finn Wolfhard in the video) showcase the band’s knack for blending chaos with vulnerability.
Every song punches hard but hits even harder emotionally. It's witty, wounded, and wild—a record that burns with sincerity beneath its scuzzy surface.
Perfect for punk fans who like their anthems loud, messy, and achingly real.
