Prosody was formed in November of 2011 by guitarist Christopher Stroud (Ex- Ossuary ~ Pa USA), guitarist Christopher Rosenko (Ex- Pave the Way) and drummer Robert Smith (Ex- Demeter/Migrane). In December of 2011, vocalist Ken Ebersole (Ex- Ossuary, Praise the Sinner) joined. And by January of 2012, bassist Dave Morris (Ex- Demeter) completed the lineup. Prosody was formed with the intentions to bring back the thrash sound of the 80's with the brutal bands of today. With influences coming from Carcass, Sepultura, Hatebreed, Machine Head, Slayer, Vio-Lence, Pantera and thousands of other death metal and thrash metal acts, Prosody incorporates their breakdowns, thrash rhythms and fast riffs into their own sound. For fans of Sepultura, Hatebreed, Slayer, Suffocation, Dying Fetus, and Pantera.
