Singer-songwriter Yuka, whose work has garnered worldwide acclaim for her work on the theme songs 'Meguru' (The Long Goodbye) and 'Tomoka' (Lights) for the TBS Friday drama 'My Wife Became a Primary Schooler,' has completed her latest EP. After meeting LA-based musician Yohei Shikano, she traveled to the United States alone to record this album at the end of 2024. Featuring guitarist Jeff Parker, a member of Tortoise whose recent solo projects have pioneered ambient jazz, and drummer/percussionist Jay Bellerose, who has performed with numerous renowned artists including Elton John, the album features Yuka's evolved vocals. Woven in sessions with cutting-edge LA artists, the songs weave a remarkably soft, conversational ensemble that speaks deeply to the listener. LISTEN: https://youtu. Be/YqWl8NnSWgASong ListA1.
