Alongside the legendary Mercyful Fate and more obscure acts such as Alien Force, Randy, and Crystal Knight, Copenhagen's Witch Cross are undoubtedly one of the best Danish metal bands of all time. The line up included vocalist Alex Savage, guitarists Mike Wlad Koch and Cole Hamilton, bassist Jan "Little John" Field, and drummer Anders "A.C". Their 1984 album, Fit For Fight is among the top five metal records in the country. It was produced by danish guitarist Ivan Horn and engineered by Niels Erik Lund (who worked with Mercyful Fate and King Diamond) at the legendary Easy Sound Studio in Copenhagen.
