The new album Uchuu (Space) is the most abstract work in Oowets' career to date-a gentle collection of songs expressing inner sensations and a connection to the universe.Across these nine tracks, you will feel as if you are walking through a forest or drifting among the clouds.Minimal rhythms, created by editing the sounds of tapping on cloth boxes, wood, and stones, are layered with piano, synthesizer, and the warm, nostalgic sound of a reed organ.During the production of this album, a unique way to create melodies was discovered by blending environmental sounds with synthesizer tones. It produces a mysterious sound, as if science and nature have merged into one.From tracks like "In Bed," which uses the raw sounds of a morning recorded right from the bedside, this is a soothing album that explores how our daily lives are intimately connected to the vast universe.
