'Just a Few Folk' is Jp Cooper's third studio album, released on Universal Records. Produced by Cam Blackwood and co-written with Mr Hudson, Simon Aldred, Jamie Hartman, RORY and Neil Ormandy, 'Just A Few Folk' is a beautifully crafted body of work, recorded entirely to tape at renowned London analog studio Toe Rag Studios. The album speaks of everyday stories and experiences - family bonds, personal relationships, intimate moments. "Diamonds and Gold" is a soulful dedication to his wife, while "Sad Song" reframes heartache. He reflects on memories of growing up in Middleton, Manchester (UK) on "Waiting on a Blue Sky," and the lead single "Summer of Love" blends retro soul, '70s-inspired grooves and Jp Cooper's signature rich vocals.
