The legendary group Foesum from Long Beach, California, first made their mark under the name Perfection, when they collaborated with a then-unsigned Snoop Doggy Dogg, their close friend from the same hometown, on the track "Let 'Em Understand." Riding the wave of the early '90s West Coast hip-hop movement, they made their major debut soon after, and their 1996 album Perfection, released under the name Foesum, remains a beloved classic to this day.
